sea hare

Question
I have a sea hare which is doing great eating my algae and is very active... however he had developed a hole on his back (and no its not the mantle) Would you have any idea what or why and how to fix it? This is the first one i've ever had so i don't know much about them but I don't think this is normal.

how are your water parameters? if they are checking out to be good, he might have just scraped himself or another tank inhabitant mistook him for food. The medicines melafix and pimafix should be able to treat it, if you can i would get a quarantine tank set up for him. As long as no blood was lost from the scrape, he should be alright
