What do I need??

Hi, I was wondering if you you know somewhere i can get cheap aquariums and stands also planning on a 300 gallon fish only tank, could you tell me the equipment I will need, I won't need strong lighting cause no corals. Also could you give me some good aggresive begginer fish, I was thinking Panther Grouper, Or Lionfish.

Where do you live?  Im not sure if i can help in locating cheap tanks and stuff other then from craigslist?

As for equipment, i would suggest a sump, skimmer, heater, and plenty of pump/powerhead for flow...


as for beginner fish, groupers would be the easiest, lionfish are towards the harder ones to keep.

try searching www.liveaquaria.com to get more information on individual fish.  they also have a compatiblity chart, if i recall.
