New Fish!!!

Ok I'm so excited and I got tempted enough to go ahead and buy a sand flounder and porcupine puffer from saltwaterfish.com Its for my 300 gallon reef could you give me some information on these fish I know the porcupine eats corals I just loved him so much I couldn't keep myself away same with the sand flounder couldn't keep myself away So please answer back I'm expecting them tomorrow can't wait!!!!!

Hello Seth,

congrats for making the plunge.  I have not had either of these fish, but believe that other then them maybe nipping at the coral, (basically to 'keep thier razor sharp teeth/jaw sharp, they will also eat your clean up crews.  So, you will need to cleanup after them and o everythingyour snails and crabs used to do...



Your size tank shouldnt be a problem for them as they love the wide open spaces, (less rock work), and keep a good upply of feeder fish for them ...
