Question
I am new to the saltwater aquarium world, I have been doing some research online for a week or so and I'm starting to get the general idea of a few things but nothing too major. I just bought a 55 gallon tank with stand (Used, the person before me had a reef only setup) I want to do a fish only take with some live rock, im not going to be adding fish to the tank for quite some time, nor will I be adding anything to the tank for some time, I estimated about 800.00 just to get everything setup without fish, enough with the nonsense rambling, My question is I am curious if you know of a few good books for beginners such as myself. Thanks a bunch.

Answer
Hi! And welcome to the wonderful marine world! A few good books to help out some one new to this hobby would be "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner, and "The Marine Aquarium Problem Solver" by Nick Dakin. There are many other useful books just full of info out there. You may also want to pick yourself up a book just on the different kinds of fish to help you decide which ones you want and what is compatible with what and how to care for them. The one I find myself using the most is called "PocketExpert Guide To Marine Fishes" by Scott Michael. These should get you started and if you have any other questions feel free to ask!
