Brittle Starfish

I noticed today that my brittle starfish is falling apart. All the water parameters are good and everything else in my aquarium appears to be in good health.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Your star fish has an infection and infected star fish seldom survive.  These guys have an uncanny ability to regenerate. If this has not begun to happen there is not much one can do because this problem could viral or bacterial both are extremely hard to solve/cure.  Without  actually seeing the star fish's condition  it is hard to tell.  I would place it in a quarantine tank for now.  Feed it, watch it and check your h20 parameters.
