Answer
Hello Oscar,

I strive to give the most informed, and professional answer I can, and therefore I need more information in order to answer your question properly.

I need to know how long your tank has been set up.

I need to know the type of filtration you are using and if you use a skimmer, if so, what make/model#.  Filter also, make/model# unless you are on a refugium or wet/dry. Then, I'd like to know how many gallons it is, and how large your aquarium is.  I also need to know whether you have a built-in overflow or not, and whether you have powerheads and if so, what makes/models, and where they are placed.

It would be best to try to provide a snapshot.  You can upload one to Photobucket and paste its URL here, so I can see it.  It will give me an idea why you are still encountering issues.

Also, does your system have fish only, live rock, corals...how deep is the sand?  What are the readings?

There are so many things which cause diatoms and algae.  The pink and green dots can be one of at least two things I am considering, but photos really help. :)

Hope to hear back.  Just followup on your original post and I will recieve your responses.

Thanks,
Renee
