Answer
Hi Cynthia,

When adding live rock, you will need to let your aquarium acclimate/mature for another period of time. This time will depend on if you purchased un-cured or cured live rock. If you've purchased high quality cured live rock, I would recommend to let your aquarium acclimate/mature for at least another two weeks. This should be followed by a partial water change.

Upon thoroughly checking your water parameters, to make sure all levels are acceptable, you may then proceed to add marine life. My recommendation when adding corals and other invertebrates is to take it slow, by adding only one specimen at a time, so you can fully monitor it.

I wish you the best with all your saltwater aquarium endeavors.

Regards,
David
