Ok,

Please check you ammonia.  It should read next to zero.  If
not (I do not know how big your tank is but perform a 10-20%) water change once or twice this week.  Stop feeding your fish for a bit 2-3 days.  Use freshly pre-pared salt water.  Same temp, same pH same salinity.  The greenish water sound like you have a algae bloom in your tank bit it is hard to tell because I can not see it.  If your fish is hovering at the top of the tank or is breathing really fast it sounds like your ammonia is way too high.

Let me know how you make out

Answer

Hello,

My fish do the same thing, they stir up the sand in my tanks as well.  The sand gets everywhere. So do not worry about the cloudiness the dust will settle. You talked about live rock.  Make sure it is 100% cured live rock.  I would put this rock in a ten gallon (with a small filter and heater ask your pet store about this curing method) tank for about 3 weeks and perform 50% water changes every week. After this your rock should be fully cured.  un-cured rock will  raise your ammonia and nitrite levels of your tank.

Good luck
