My brittle starfish is falling apart.

I have a brittle starfish with two  seahorses in a salt water thank  . She was fine after adding the seahorses she seem more active coming out of her live rock and climbing on things . Now we've noticed all the tips of her legs have fallen off and shd doesn't seem well . Please help .

Sorry to hear about your starfish.

This wild caught species of starfish needs time to adjust to life in captivity, and often times even when providing a perfect environment with great water parameters it won't make it...

General care requirements include the following:

It will enjoy a saltwater aquarium with plenty of live rock for hiding, and pristine water quality. It is nocturnal and often hides under the rocks during the day. At night, it comes out to eat detritus and small organisms. It cannot tolerate copper-based medications. In the aquarium it may be fed zooplankton, very finely chopped meaty items, and liquid invertebrate foods.
