saltwater hermit crabs

i got hermit crabs at the ocean, but i dont know what they eat or what they need. any help?

do you know what species it is? Were they on land or in the water? if they were on land, set up a tank of at least 10g, with a 50w heater, half land, half saltwater at a salinity of 1.025 (you need synthetic sea salt and a hydrometer to do this) and a small internal filter. The brand Hikari makes crab food that you can try to get them to eat
