Angel fish and tangs

Can two angel fish and a tang be in the same tank???

Hi Melanie. The angelfish and the tang should be okay provided you have a large enough tank to house them full grown but two angelfish will usually fight when put into the same tank. Some of the dwarf angels can get along if the tank is very large and they are introduced at the same time but two larger species of angels should never be kept in the same tank except in tanks the size of the ones you would see in a public aquarium! One angelfish will dominate over the other and the less dominant one will most likely end up dying from stress and/or disease.
