My two African cichlids are taking all food

My two African cichlids are taking all food from my i think it is a figure eight puffer fish( i think its a figure eight puffer i'm not sure how do you tell?) I don't want my fish to starve to death what should i do?

You could use a partition to separate your fish during feeding. There are many types of partitions that you could use, including ceiling tile egg crate.

You can get ceiling tile egg crate at most local hard ware stores, and simply cut it to size, to create a nice fitting partition that you can easily put in during feeding, than take out afterwards.
