Question
I started up my 55 gallon tank about a month ago and it has been a milky yellow color for 2 weeks. I have made sure that I haven't been over feeding them, my water levels are fine,I have been using a protein skimmer for about a week all day long ,I have also done water changes and tried algone and stuff like that to clear it up. It is still gross. Here is what my tank consist of:
Prizm skimmer (for up to 100 gallons)
Penguin bio wheel 350
one lawnmower blenny
one firefish
two saddleback clownfish
one chromis
one mushroom (not positive what kind it was just pretty)
one sea serpant star fish
50 lbs of live rock
five turbo snails
That is about it I have tried everything I don't know what else to do. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thank you!!

Answer
what lights are you running? if you have the wrong lighting it can make the water apear yellow.

all i can suggest is to get a bag of carbon, rinse it well in RO water and run that in your filter.

to be honest it sounds like you have jusmped straight in and stocked your tank without it cycling first, most tanks take a month or 2 to cycle before you can start adding fish and corals.
