cloudy salt water tank

my salt water tank is very very cloudy and it has never been before. have had it for about 5 months and just got 3 fish in it, 5 snails and 2 of my fish have died..   what have i done wrong and what can id to fix it?

Hi there, Usually this is due to an bacteria bloom. I don't know that this would have anything to do with the death of the fish, I have had this with a couple of my tanks and besides not looking the nicest, it has been harmless. The way I have fixed the problem was to do a 25 water change and run some carbon through the filter. This has cleared it up within a couple of days. Hope this helps.
