Question
I have a 75 gal. saltwater tank with about 35 lbs. of live rock and 100 lbs. of live sand.  Nothing else, yet!  The tank has cycled, and nitrites are zero.  Since it has live sand, should I add invertebrates first (e.g. starfish, crabs, etc.) or add starter fish first (e.g. blue damsels)?

Answer
hi, if the tank has cycled it will be fine to add anything you wan't. best starting with the clean up crew, crabs and the like. star fish are not a good thing to add to a new aquarium, they need mature tanks.

also stay away from damsels, they will get very aggressive and prevent you from adding anything else later, go with a pair of clowns they can be just as hardy
