Question
My goldfish was very sick when i got home 4 days ago, I was only gone for about 12 hours, and i got him all better but now he's stuck in bent in half position and he's perfectly healthy, i know this because he still interacts with me, but anyway do you know what to do?

Answer
Hi Anthony
What was wrong with him before?  I've tried searching on this problem before, not very much info on it though, and I've only seen stuff that mentions possible causes no cure for it.  There's several possibly causes of their spines becoming bent, from an electric current in the water(faulty heater or filter can cause that), lack of vitamins(I believe vitamin C is the main one for this problem), gneetics, injuries, and fish TB or neon tetra disease.

Fish TB and neon tetra disease are generally not curable, and fish TB can be transmitted to humans if you have any cuts on your hands/arms.  That's why I asked what problem he had before.

All I can really suggest, keep his water quality good, vary his diet up to make sure he gets different vitamins and minerals, use flakes, pellets, vegetables, frozen and thawed bloodworms and brine shrimp.  I can't say for sure if he'll be able to heal or fix himself from it, like I said, not much information available on if they recover.  It depends on what caused him to bend, it may just be a muscle injury that needs time to heal, it's just hard to say.

Sorry can't help much more then that, good luck with him!
