My bala shark

My shark is badly injured and floating around the tank he's not dead but i think my red tailed shark attacked him is there anything i can do to help him??

Hello Lynn,

I am sorry to hear that your bala shark is injured.  Let's see if we can fix him.  I need to know some more before I can get a good answer for you.  What size tank do you have?  What type of fish?  How many?  How long has the tank been set-up?  Your last water change?  Do you know the water parameters of your tank?  

I would take some of the water from your tank and put it in a container, roughly 1 gallon, and add a pinch of aquarium salt.  Add an airstone, and let him be in there until I can get the rest of the answers to those above questions.  If a fish did pick on him, he will be safe for now.  The salt will help reduce his stress.  Let me know as soon as you can on the afore mentioned questions so that I may help you better.
