Question
I have only two neon tetras left from my original 8, and because of my location can only be flown in hand carried, i understand the difficulty of breeding them, but my two seems to breed all the time in my larger tank, but  all the eggs get eaten.   I have seprated them into a breeding tank and  got them to breed serverl times, which i thought was too easy.  anyway two of the eggs hatched  and i can see them useing a tourch, is it safe to do this? as i know they are light sensitive. I am now feeding them with "liquifry no.1" is this good?  also is there any tips for feeding them such as  how long do i keep feeding them on liqufry and if it is  possible to feed them stright to crushed dry foods after?  This is the best results i have had with the neons and need all the help and advise i can get
Thanks

Answer
wow... congratulations on getting neon tetras to breed... Feed them the liquidfry no 1 for the first two weeks and then mix the feeding with crushed flake food or even a paste made from water and boiled egg yolk.  Looking at them with a torch is ok.. though I wouldn't do it too often they do love the darkness.  where abouts are you located? dave
