yellow cichilid

my yellow cichlid has a cluster of bumps on the belly. What could this be?

Hard to say without seeing the fish. Are the bumps white? They might be clusters of ick. Here's a photo-

Otherwise, it sounds like it could be something bacterial and it will probably be difficult to treat. But that's just a "probably" it might be nothing but a picture would help. If you like, you could send a picture here-
