Balloon Molly - Bubbles over eyes

Question
Yesterday my black molly was fine, but today it has bubbles over both it's eyes and acts like it can't see.

Answer
Hi Joan;

If the eye surfaces look whitish, it may be irritation from a problem in the tank water or bacterial or fungal infection. If the eyes look like they are protruding or bulging, it is a condition known as "popeye". Here are web links to info on both;

If you could let me know more about your aquarium such as how long it has been set up, how big the tank is, how many fish, how big the fish are, how often water changes are made, water temperature, filtration, etc., I could probably be more helpful.
