knowing about fish

hi jaymie ,im reading all different answers  on wanting to know why my fish is floating at the top and the bottom of the tank,curl over on its side.It takes the odd swim now and again, this morning we thought it was dead, we also have put it in to a small aquarium ,is this allowed.

It sounds like it is having swim bladder issues. Try fasting the fish for 2 days and on day 3 feed it a cook shelled pea and fast again for 2 days. I don't know what kind of fish you have so can't tell you if it is ok that it is in a smaller tank. Once I know the type I can advise better
