Pregnant Fish?

Hi Again,

Thank you so much for your email back. From what you told me, my fish (red Platy) is a female. I have isolated it in a small tank.  My only other question is, does it lay eggs or does it give birth to little fishes?  I wouldn't know how to take care of these little fish if they did survive...would I feed them all the normal amount of fish food I give all my other fish?  Thanks for your time, I'll be looking forward to your response.

Hi, the platy fish is a live bearer fish wich gives live birth.It is very easy to actuallt take care of them just crush up the normal fish food into almost pouder and give this to them once a day.Make sure to remove the female fish once she has given birth so she does not eat thim, also make sure to feed and take good care of the mom fish.If you have any other questions i will be wating, good luck.THANKS!
