Question
I am trying to find out more about the tiny worms in my chichlid tank, and I saw a question posted to you previously, and I wonder if the worms I am seeing are the same ones that live in chichlid tanks.  Could you tell me more about them?  What do they look like, life cycles, etc.
Thank you.

Answer
Hi Andrea,
Are the worms little white worms, on the glass?  If so, I can't tell you exactly what they are, but they are generally harmless. They do tell me, however, that you need to do more water changes.  Those worms appear in high numbers when there are too many nutrients in the water, typically as a result of overfeeding and not enough water changes. You should be changing 25% of the water once a week, every week to keep your tank healthy.
