i dont know if my catfish is pregnant!

i have 2 catfish in my 35g tank with other fish and i think one of my catfish is pregnant. its belly has become fatter. how do i know if it is pregnant or not and what do i do if it is?

Hi Ericka;

Catfish are egglayers so it is up to a male catfish if you have a female full of eggs. Even if she laid eggs they can't hatch unless they are fertilized by the male after laying. There are many different types of catfish though so let me know what it is or do an internet search on breeding that type to know what they need.
