fat gold fish

I have a 55 gallon fresh water aquarium..approx 11 gold fish but one is extremely fat and has been for quite some time  4-5 months...in the last couple of days she seems to have even gotten fatter...now it seems that the other fish are starting follow her and push her under her belly...is there anything I should or could do...they won't leave her alone.

Hello Jeanne,
The odds are that the other goldfish are males, and they are following her because they want to breed with her, and the reason she is getting fat is because she has eggs inside her. She will lay the eggs on the plants around the tank and soon they will hatch and you will have lots of babie goldfish or goldfish fry. Search on google for info on what to do from there on.
