Hello Mr.Coleman,I have 55 gallon fish tank with a penguin330,regent40-60 hang on filters.What would be the best water conditioner that you would recomend?And would you recomend salt for it?

Hi Guillermo,
   I don't use any water conditioner for my tanks. Is your water particularly hard or soft?   Jack Dempsey's are not too picky about water.  I would definitely NOT put any salt in the tank.  It is largely a myth that salt does anything good for most cichlids and in fact, probably is harmful.  I NEVER put salt in my tanks.
