Question
QUESTION: help me. my new male guppy came with 3 others and one of them was found on the bottom of the tank with no fins 10 min ago(*dead). now my favourite one looks like  there is a band of fungus around his stomach and he is moving slow. tankmates r 5 neon tetra, 3 blk widdow tetra and now 4  male guppies. also 1 small bristle nose. i also found a small snail stuck on the glass that i didnt buy. it is a planted tank. tell me a cure pleease, i dont want to loose any more.......................................

ANSWER: Hi Brayden,
It sounds like one of your fish is attacking the others but it is hard to say which.  Are you feeding the bristle nose catfish?  Many people make the mistake of not feeding catfish -- they need algae wafers -- and if you do not, catfish can and will attack other fish and try to eat them.

Answer
Hi Brayden,
Do you know what the disease called "ick" looks like?  It could be that. If so, there are various products to treat that, e.g., Rid-Ich, or Quik-Cure or many others.  You should try one of those.
