tiger barbs & tank mates

HI I have a 20glntank freshwater ph,7.0 - A friend bought me 6 assorted tiger barbs, the thing is after doing some research on the tigers ,I don't know If my pepper corys are safe with then and also can I just use a pleco for to help keep things clean- really don't know . sos

The cory catfish should be fine with the tiger barbs because they are both community fish. Yes you can use a pleco to keep things clean, but you will still have to do weekly water changes to keep the ammonia and nitrite levels down so your fish don't die.
