Question
I bought some salvain cichlids, and they were so active in the store, but ever since I got them home they do nothing but sit in the back corner near some plants. Did I do something wrong? I there a fish that in general is pretty active that you can suggest? What about a betta?

Hi Lance,
 They are just frightened.  Does your tank have lots of structure, i.e., wood, plants, etc?  If not, you need to add some.  

  They will be quite active once they feel at home in the tank.
