What do you think about atison's betta spa  for bettas? Is that even necessary?

Hi Mo!!  About Atison's Betta Spa.  Personally, I don't think it's necessary.  MAYBE if you are going to breed them, but under normal circumstances, I feel it's just another gimmick to get your money.  I have never used it and all my Bettas are just fine.  If you're asking me if I feel you should buy some, I would say "NO". That's my personal opinion though.  From the sound of your question, it seems as if you are feeling basically the same thing!!

So long as you use a water conditioner in your Bettas water, and you feed them good quality food made just for Bettas (preferably NOT flakes....I use Hikari pellets for my Betta with great success), you shouldn't have any problems at all.  Just be sure that you keep the water in the upper 70's.  That's when they are the happiest.
