QuestionI bought a betta fish about 2 days ago, and at first he ate, but then he would eat a pellet and then spit it out. Then,he stopped eating all together and started spitting out bubbles. I thought at first it was because the water was to caold, and it was so i moved him under a lamp and now the water is room temperature, but he still wont eat and hes still spitting out bubbles. What should i do?
AnswerHi Melissa,
Bettas are bubble nesters. Making bubbles is exactly what a male betta should be doing and indicates that he is happy. He is making a nest.
