encouraging firemouth breeding

Question
what should i do 2 encourge my FMs 2 breed? i have about 4, i thing 2 males 2 females and they pretty much get along fine but i havent noticed  any pairs. they have plenty of hiding places, there in a 55g with a pH of 7.0 and there alone in the tank. it also is densly planted on 1 side

Hi D.,
 Try feeding them live food such as tubifex worms or live brine shrimp.  If you can't get live brine shrimp, try frozen brine shrimp.  

 Mostly, you just have to be patient.
