Neon tetras and Siamese fighting

i"am just starting up my first fish tank and was wondering if i put a Siamese fighting fish in with some neon tetras would it bully them at all?

Hi Geoff,
They usually get along, but there is no guarantee.  Put the neons in first, and wait a few days, then add the Betta.  Make sure your water has cycled before adding fish.  This means no ammonia, no nitrites, and nitrates should be low.
