Question
I just bought 3 fishes today all of them are telescope eyes goldfish. I know that you aren't an expert on them but my question doesn't concern them. Is a 10 gal tank enough to keep them alive? I have a whisper filter also. If they don't fit please tell me why they would die from a tank as big as 10 gals.

Answer
Hi Richard,
A 10 gallon tank might be okay when they are small but as they get larger, they are going to be very crowded in that tank.  The key will be to do regular weekly partial water changes: change 25% of the water once a week, every week religiously to keep them happy and healthy.  Even then, you will probably need to find them a larger tank when they start growing.
