Blood Red Parrot Cichlid

Question
I got a red parrot cichlid, the store that I bought it from said it wasn't agressive.  I have been researching it and it ranges from a peaceful cichlid to semi agressive to agressive.  I do have some fish missing here and there, I am trying to figure out if it is the red parrot or the green spotted puffer, any thoughts?

 It is peculiar to me that someone would say that parrot cichlids are not aggressive -- yes, they are!   But, at the same time, so is the puffer.  Puffers can almost never be kept long term with other fish.  They are active and cunning predators.
