betta compatibility

hi, just bought a 10 gal tank and put a divider down the middle, i have a female betta on each side and now ive put neon tetras and white cloud minnows on the left side with the calmer betta, what other fish go good with a betta? looking for something small, preferably a school of tiny fish that are fast so they could outrun a betta but still interesting to watch, something like a neon tetra, but that wouldnt want to school with a neon tetra. i tried to separate the white clouds and tetras but they freaked out because they wanted to be together and i dont want these new fish to be the same way, so even something that hated tetras would be good

Hi Cam,
 I think you may be trying to put too many things in a 10 gallon tank.  Keep in mind that a 10 gallon tank is not a huge amount of space, and half of that is not very much space at all. It is better to have a few fish that are happy than try to put too many in there and have no one be happy.
