Question
I have a pair of Albino Convicts who have started guarding a nest in my tank. Its a 4ft bow front and due to bog wood and plants i dont have great access to see the area they seem to be gurading. I believe they are spawning, if so, how long before eggs would hatch and i might (very hopefully) see free swimming fry? Thanks

Answer
Darren,                                                                Your male will keep them safe. That is their roll. If they have laid it will happen in 3 to 4 days. You will lose some , but you will have many depending on the fish in your tank. Mom will not eat the babies.Good luck , tina
