baby sword tail

Question
I have 2 sword tail fish one male and one female, and i came down stairs this morning to find a tiny fish swimming around. I have no idea hoe to care for it. Do i have to take it out the main tank because I'm terrified tat it's either going to be filtered or eaten? help!

Congrats on the baby!

Right place in another tank or a bowl anything bigger than a 2 gallon and put a filter and the water from the current tank.  Put plants in and make it feel cosy.  Then feed it three times a day with crushed flake or baby brine shrimp!  Good Luck   :)   Jack
