red devil gone crazy

my red devil has gone mad he is swimming through the tank really fast jumping out and hitting the glass at the top  swimming full on into the sides i checked his ph 3 days ago and just checked it it is now at 6.0 what could cause this? now he is swimming on his side and upside down he can't seem to swim properly help lps i don't know what is going on he is in a 4 foot tank please help i dont want to loose him but he isn't looking good p.s he is about 30cm long

Hi Lisa,
 Have you been doing regular weekly, partial water changes?  You should be changing about 25% of his water once a week, every week.  The behavior you describe could easily be caused by poor water conditions.
