betta fish sick!

My betta fish has gone mostly white and one of his fins isn't working. Everytime he tries to get food he drifts to his side and so he hasn't been eating much. What should I do? Please help, I really love my fish! :(

Hi Elizabeth,
 It is very possible that your betta is just getting old. They don't live very long.  

 I am assuming that you are doing regular water changes on his tank, i.e., changing some water at least once a week?
