CENTRAL AMERICAN FISH SPECIES

HELLO,

I WANT TO STOCK MY NEW, SET UP 29 GALLON TANK WITH AMAZONIAN FISH AND KEEP IT AS AUTHENTIC WITH PLANTS FROM THE AREA, ETC.  I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND A GOOD LIST OF FISH TO CHOOSE FROM THAT ARE FROM THE AMAZON RIVER BASIN.  CAN YOU PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS OF INTERESTING FISH FROM THIS LOCALE FOR ME, AS WELL AS PLANTS AND TIPS?  THANKS.  I HAVE PRETTY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH FISH TANKS, AS I WORKED FOR A LONG PERIOD IN A FISH STORE WHEN I WAS YOUNGER.  THANKS.

It mentions piranhas, but obviously you aren't going to want any of those. ;-) They also mention freshwater rays, but they have very special requirements and are delicate.
