Question
A few months ago i purchased a 10 gallon fish tank.  Everything is going great.  The water is clear, and the fish seem happy.  So far i have only put in a few starter fish, they include 2 Tetras, and 3 Platy's.  I am wondering how many more I should add?(if any at all).  Also i was wondering if you had any recommendations on the type of fish i should get.
Thanks.

Answer
Hi Eric,
You are at your limit.  For now you cannot get anymore fish.  This is all a 10 gallon can hold for fish to be comfortable.  (If you do not have a pleco, you could add two little cory cst fish as they are bottom fish)  You will have to buy food for them, they love the pellets made especially for them, and shrimp pellets.  They will not eat spoiled food at the bottom of the tank.  They must be fed like all the other fish.  They love to play so buy 2.  With cory fish, the more the merrier!!  They would die of lonliness if kept alone. It is better to have comfortable fish, than too many in a tank that will cause stress, then disease.  If you ever get a bigger one, then we could discuss what you would like to do with your tank, but for now, I think this is just perfect.
