Question
Are there any plecostmus fish that don't like to eat live plants in a fresh water aquarium.

Answer
Hi Chris;

Goldspot, Zebra, and Queen Arabesque are just three of the carnivorous plecos that don't usually like plants. They need to be fed worms, shrimp and other meaty foods. They can still dig up your plants or damage their stems, leaves and root systems just by their activity in finding food though. Go to a site such as PlanetCatfish.com, Scotcat.com or Plecofanatics.com for more info on those types and more. Do a search for "carnivore" on each site and you will be able to browse those specific types, see their care requirements and view photos too.
