i want to get a small aquarium with 4 fish inside.what fish work well together and what fishes are good pets for children?

It all depends on what type of tank you want. Do you prefer cold water or tropical? Salt water or fresh? Once you have figured that out, I can help you better. Tropical tanks needs heaters and filters, cold water just need the filter. Let me know which type of tank you want and then we can go from there.
