Blood Parrot Lump

Hello,
I've had my blood parrot for about a year now and when I first go it, it was a bright color re/orange and looked healthy. Now Its pale and has a lump on it tale that started growing about 4 months ago. I don't remember changing anything other than adding a new fish (which he/she killed)and changing it to a 20g tank; Since I got it, I've been feeding it the same food. I've tried using aquarium salt but I don't see any improvement and I do keep the water pretty warm as well. Now the part is getting dark spots.Please, please help me. I don't want to loose it. Hi Yesica,
  How often are you changing water in the tank?  You should be changing 25% of the water once a week, every week to keep your fish happy and healthy.   By the way, there is no need or reason to add salt to the water for a parrot cichlid.
