Answer
Hi Valeria;

Guppies have babies about every 4 to 6 weeks or so. Mollies take longer at 6 to 8 weeks. When they are ready to have babies they usually hide a bit more than usual and their bellies may develop a bit of a "boxy" look, a little flattish on the bottom. Once these signs are evident, they will usually have babies within 5 days or less.

Baby guppies and baby mollies all look like females until they start to become sexually mature and their organs develop. It can take up to four months to be sure in some young fish. Here is a link to a picture of the difference between male and female guppies, and it's the same for mollies, platies and swordtails too;

Good luck and have fun!
