Elephant Fish

Hi, my wife bought an Elephant Fish from the pet. when she opened the bag to put the fish into the tank at home. It was upside down and after leaving the fish for 30mins in the tank. It's still upside down? is that the fish is going to die or do they pretend to act this way?

Hi Paul,
  Unfortunately that does not sound good at all. That usually results from the fish being improperly bagged or transported (e.g., not enough oxygen or sitting in a hot car).  Rarely, a fish will recover but time will tell.
