Feeding Oscars peas

Question
Hi,
I've been reading that you can feed oscars and jack dempseys frozen peas, carrots, etc?  Do you mean the actual frozen peas that you buy at the supermarket?  If so, what is the best way to feed them to your fish?  I'm assuming you cook them as you would for yourself and then peel the outside?  Is this correct?  Can you offer any guidance on this?  Thanks.  Also, can they eat peas/carrots from a can?

Yes you can feed your fish peas. Always cook them and remove the outer shell. Do not feed the shell to your fish because they cannot digest them. Then when it is cool, cut it up in bite size pieces and feed them toy our fish. I would not feed them peas from a can. Frozen works just fine.
