Which fish get along.

Hi, I'm getting a fresh water fish tank pretty soon and I'm not sure what size to get for the fish I want, and also if the fish I'd like to have would get along. Heres the fish; Red Turquoise Discus, Marble Veiled Angelfish, OB Peacock Cichlid, Black more goldfish, Red devil cichlid, Dwarf Gourami, Assorted mickey mouse platies, and Red Dalmation Sailfin. If they do not all get along which ones should I not buy? Thanks:)

Well, the first thing you have to decide is whether you want a cold water tank or tropical. If you want tropical, then the goldfish you cannot add. It is a cold water fish and does not do well in tanks that are above 70 degrees with 65 degrees being best for them. It is very important that you research all the fish you want to make sure they all can get along. This does not mean that even though they are compatible, that they will get along. Each fish is different. Make sure that you cycle the tank before you add any of the fish you want.
