bloated fish

I was wondering if there was some kind of illnes that convicts get that effects their swim bladder and disables them from swimming to the bottom of tank and staying there. I have a convict cichlid that appears to be havin this problem, what could be causing this and what can i do to fix this?

Hi Justen,
  There are various intestinal or swim bladder infections that can cause this. It is a bit unusual for a convict cichlid to get these.  Sadly, there is not much you can do to treat this.
